Nikola Kalinic expects tough competition for Serbia in FIBA EuroBasket

Nikola Kalinic opened up about the upcoming FIBA EuroBasket (September 1-18) and the expectations for Serbia.

The Serbian forward placed the national team among the favorites, yet he expects tough competition in the tournament.

“In my opinion, this will definitely be one of the strongest European championships. Lots of good players… Jokic, Doncic, Dragic. A lot of players from the NBA, but also from the EuroLeague. People are eager for national team matches, there will be many fans and good entertainment,” Nikola Kalinic said, via Mozzart Sport.

Serbia is among the favorites for the gold medal in the EuroBasket, alongside Greece, Slovenia and France. The Serbians will wrap up their training camp this week and will focus on the Qualifiers and EuroBasket.
