Luka Doncic made another stellar performance with Slovenia, as the defending champions are getting ready for the FIBA EuroBasket (September 1-18).
The superstar guard of the Dallas Mavericks flirted with the triple-double, going for 34 points (11/20 shooting), 9 assists and 6 rebounds, and led the Slovenians past Serbia in a preparation game (97-92).
Luka Doncic and Slovenia are the grand favorite to win the gold medal and defend their title. They will wrap up their preparation for the EuroBasket this week with a preparation game vs Croatia (August 20).
Slovenia will face Estonia (August 25) and Germany (August 28) in the tip-off of the Second Round of the Basketball World Cup Qualifiers.
They will then travel to Cologne in late August and will take on Lithuania, Hungary, Bosnia-Herzegovina, Germany, and France in the group stage of the EuroBasket (Group B).
