Giannis Antetokounmpo is dealing with back soreness and underwent an MRI on Saturday, which showed no damage.
Therefore, the “Greek Freak” will continue his individual work and is considered day-to-day. The coaching staff is not concerned about his status and expects him to play in the upcoming Basketball World Cup Qualifiers and EuroBasket.

The two-time NBA MVP was ruled out for Greece’s final preparation game on Friday, because of the back soreness.
This was the third preparation game Giannis Antetokounmpo missed, as he was also out against Spain (August 11) and Georgia (August 18).
The Greeks will face Serbia (road, August 25) and Belgium (home, August 28) for the Second Round of the Qualifiers.
They will then travel to Milano in late August for the group stage of the EuroBasket, where they will take on hosts Italy, Estonia, Great Britain, Ukraine and Croatia.
