Dimitris Itoudis getting ready for his debut season as Fenerbahce head coach

Dimitris Itoudis is looking forward to his debut season as Fenerbahce head coach and has started preparing his team’s tactics.

The new head coach of the Turkish powerhouse took to Twitter and shared a photo of him working on the team’s plays and strategies.

After eight years with CSKA Moscow (2014-2022), the Greek coach decided to leave Russia and move to Istanbul to join Fenerbahce. In early June, he signed a three-year deal with the Turks.

Itoudis made a lot of changes to the roster, as he has his sight set on bringing the club back to the EuroLeague Final Four.

Seven players signed with the team this offseason, including EuroLeague star Scottie Wilbekin and NBA champion Nemanja Bjelica.

Fenerbahce will officially tip off its training camp this week, but Dimitris Itoudis (head coach of Greece NT) will join the squad in late September, after the end of the EuroBasket (September 1-18).
