Donatas Motiejunas agreed to a new deal with Monaco and will remain with the team for another season, the club announced on Monday.
The Lithuanian big man, who averaged 9.7 points and 4.6 rebounds in the EuroLeague last season, becomes the fifth player that re-signs with the squad this offseason, after Mike James, Donta Hall, Alpha Diallo and Yakuba Ouattara.

“I feel that the club is investing toward achieving its goals this year in the EuroLeague and most importantly win the Betclic Elite. Many good players have joined the team but management has also kept a lot of players.
This produced more unity and motivates more than ever with a stronger team spirit. All this prompted my decision to stay as the best option for me and the club,” Motiejunas told the Monegasques’ official website.
Monaco made several changes to its roster this offseason and signed Elie Okobo, Jordan Loyd, John Brown III, Jaron Blossomgame, Matthew Strazel, Adrien Moerman and Yoan Makoundou.
