Lithuania trims roster to 13 players ahead of BWC Qualifiers and FIBA EuroBasket

Lithuania officially announced they have trimmed their roster to 13 players ahead of the Basketball World Cup Qualifiers and FIBA EuroBasket.

Zalgiris Kaunas guard Tomas Dimsa was the last player to leave the training camp, the Basketball Federation of the country announced.

The 13 players of the preliminary roster are as follows:

Arnas Butkevicius, Domantas Sabonis, Eigirdas Zukauskas, Gytis Masiulis, Ignas Brazdeikis, Jonas Valanciunas, Kristupas Zemaitis, Lukas Lekavicius, Marius Grigonis, Martynas Echodas, Mindaugas Kuzminskas, Rokas Giedraitis, Rokas Jokubaitis

The Lithuanians are now preparing for the games vs Hungary (August 24) and Montenegro (August 27) for the Second Round of the Qualifiers.

Prior to these games, one more player will leave the training camp and the Federation will announce its final 12-man roster.

Lithuania will play Germany, France, Slovenia, Bosnia and Herzegovina and Hungary in the group stage of the EuroBasket (Group B).
