Luka Doncic addressed the offseason moves of the Dallas Mavericks and is optimistic ahead of the 2022/23 season.
The superstar guard doesn’t believe his team needs to sign another NBA superstar to boost its chances to claim the title.
“No, I mean my team has great players. There are plenty underrated guys that I think should be talked about more. So, I don’t think so, we have a great team.
For sure number one is Dorian Finney-Smith, he’s worked really really hard he’s one of the better defensive guys and if he’s open, he’s gonna make shots.
You know, Spencer Dinwiddie is gonna have a big year, you talk about Christian Wood, he’s gonna be huge for us,” Doncic told Malika Andrews of ESPN.

The Mavericks didn’t make many offseason moves this summer. They saw Jalen Brunson join the New York Knicks, while they signed Christian Wood, who averaged 17.9 points and 10.1 rebounds last season with the Houston Rockets.
For his part, Luka Doncic averaged 28.4 points, 9.1 boards and 8.7 assists last year and has his sights set on bringing Dallas back to the Western Conference Finals for a second straight season.
