Steve Kerr says he still has no plans for Warriors’ rotation this season

Steve Kerr will need to see his players during the training camp before making his plans for the Golden State Warriors’ rotation this season.

The veteran head coach noted that he still has no idea how his full rotation will take shape after the offseason changes to the roster.

“I don’t really even have a rotation. I just look at it as six guys who played integral roles in us winning a title and we know who they are and know what they do, and then everybody else, it’s go time. It’s right there for you, you just gotta go earn it,” Steve Kerr told Tim Kawakami of The Athletic on The TK Show.

Gary Payton II and Otto Porter left the team, along with Nemanja Bjelica and Juan Toscano-Anderson. At the same time, Donte DiVincenzo and JaMychal Green joined the squad, along with James Wiseman, who returns from a serious knee injury.

“It’s rare I think for a championship team to come back with a lot of young talent that has a chance to compete for playing time. So I like that dynamic, I think competition is good, it brings the best out of everybody,” Steve Kerr added.

The Warriors aim to successfully defend their title and will rely on the Big-3 of Stephen Curry, Klay Thompson and Draymond Green, along with Jordan Poole, to do so.
