Cavs forward Dean Wade has agreed to a three-year, $18.5 million contract extension with the Cleveland Cavaliers, AP reports.
Wade, a sharpshooting forward, joined the team as an undrafted two-way player in 2019 from Kansas State.
Wade was set to enter his final year under contract after the Cavs exercised his fourth-year team option in June.

The Kansas State product will battle for a spot in the starting lineup in the upcoming training camp. Wade will receive $16.5 million guaranteed with his new deal.
He averaged 5.3 points and 2.9 rebounds in 51 games before suffering a knee injury that kept him out of the final 15 games.
The Cavaliers finished the season with a 44-40 record despite a huge number of injuries to key players and came one win short of entering the postseason via the play-in tournament.
