Guy Pnini spoke with Hedgeout.net about Maccabi Tel-Aviv’s participation in the 4th Pavlos Giannakopoulos Tournament.
The veteran forward, who returned to the Israeli powerhouse this offseason, said that facing two very good teams, like Armani Milano and Anadolu Efes, was a great test for the squad ahead of the season start.

“We have a lot of things to improve, but it was a high-quality tournament that will help us a lot moving forward,” Pnini added.
Pnini also noted that the goal is to connect all the pieces and build chemistry, aiming to reach their peak as soon as possible and become a title contender in the EuroLeague.
“This is Maccabi Tel-Aviv. We always want to be on top. I believe in the roster and in the team and hopefully we will have a great season,” Guy Pnini conluded.
Maccabi Tel-Aviv is getting ready for the start of the season in the Israeli League and the EuroLeague. In their first EuroLeague game, the Israelis will host Zalgiris Kaunas in front of a sold-out crowd at Menora Mivtachim Arena on Thursday, October 6.
