Wade Baldwin on his first days with Maccabi Tel-Aviv: “It’s everything you want”

Wade Baldwin had nothing but good words to say about his first days with his new club, Maccabi Tel-Aviv. The American guard noted that joining the club was a great opportunity for him and everything is working well for him on and off the court.

“It’s everything you want. Great place to live off the court, traditionally one of the best clubs, great EuroLeague history, we have guys that match really well, we have good personalities and a coach that is an ex-player. There are no complaints. Everything is there for us, they provide great services for us,” the American guard told Hedgeout.net.

Wade Baldwin also referred to the 4th Pavlos Giannakopoulos Tournament that Maccabi took part in, saying that it helped the Israeli powerhouse find the areas they should work on and improve ahead of the season start.

“It was a great test for us. Maccabi Tel-Aviv is a Final Four team, Anadolu Efes is the EuroLeague champion. Great opportunity for us, we have something to look on, film to watch and get ready for the first game,” he added.

Wade Baldwin and Maccabi Tel-Aviv are getting ready for the start of the season in the Israeli League and the EuroLeague. In their first EuroLeague game, the Israelis will host Zalgiris Kaunas in front of a sold-out crowd at Menora Mivtachim Arena on Thursday, October 6.
