Anadolu Efes rallies past Fenerbahce to claim Turkish Super Cup

Anadolu Efes rallied past Fenerbahce in the first clash between the two powerhouses (62-71) and claimed the Turkish Super Cup.

The back-to-back EuroLeague champions dominated their opponents for the majority of the game and endured Fenerbahce’s comeback attempt late in the fourth to win the game.

Anadolu led by 19 at halftime (23-42), thanks to a 17-1 run to close the first half, and retained its lead until the end of the third (36-54).

Fenerbahce attempted a wild comeback in the fourth and cut the deficit up to seven, thanks to a 21-10 run of their own (57-64). Yet, Efes stood tall and sealed the deal to claim the first trophy of the season.
