Denver Nuggets star guard Jamal Murray made his long-awaited return after missing the entire 2021-22 season recovering from an ACL injury. Murray looked active in his appearance in more than 12 months.

Murray found himself open in the corner for a wide-open three-point shot at one point during the second quarter and knocked it down giving him his first basket in an NBA game in over a year.

Alongside him, Michael Porter Jr. played his first since last November and shook off some of the rust as the Nuggets are preparing to fight for the championship this season with Murray and Porter Jr. available.

Jamal Murray is one of the most creative and explosive scoring guards in the NBA, and both the league and the Nuggets painfully missed his presence. He had 10 points on 4-of-7 shooting from the field during his 14-minute stay on the court last night.

The Nuggets lost to the Thunder, but perceive the potential of what they can be if they are healthy. Murray will continue ramping up the intensity the next few games until the opening night, as Denver will be healthy and ready to compete for a title.
