ACB Round Up (Week 4): Real Madrid uses big fourth quarter to beat Joventut Badalona

Dzanan Musa had 18 points, Guerchon Yabusele finished with a 17 and Real Madrid used a fourth quarter run to beat Joventut Badalona 96-79. For three quarters the Catalans were close, but Los Blancos made a 32-14 run in the fourth to run away with the victory.

Yabusele also had two blocks for Real Madrid, who played without Nigel Williams-Goss, Rudy Fernandez, and Adam Hanga again. All three players remained in the injury list ahead of the EuroLeague double week.

On Saturday, FC Barcelona steamrolled past Baxi Manresa 101-78 and continued its hot streak in the ACB Liga Endesa. Barcelona had six players scoring more than 10 points Oscar Da Silva ended the game with 14 points and 5 rebounds.

Rokas Jokubaitis also had 14 points along with eight assists. Barcelona started the game strong, closing the first quarter up by 17 points (13-30). The trend continued the rest of the way for the Catalans, who cruised to an easy victory.
