NBA Fantasy: 3 long-term additions for your team

Week 3 of the NBA Fantasy leagues is coming to an end with several players showing promise ahead of Week 4.

Here are players you can add to your NBA Fantasy roster for short-term and long-term success going forward:

Tyrese Maxey – Philadelphia 76ers

James Harden will miss a month of action and Tyrese Maxey is expected to see his touches going up for the time being, especially with Joel Embiid’s concerns. Maxey was already taking more responsibility with Harden on the floor, but his usage is definitely trending to go up. He scored 25+ points in 5 of the last six games averaging 24.9 points, 3.8 assists and 3.4 rebounds.

The Sixers will need to find their footing and realize their potential as title contenders after starting 4-6 in the season. Maxey could be the key to keeping Philadelphia afloat until the two All-Stars figure it out. The third-year guard is showing that he made a leap early in the season and your NBA Fantasy team might be benefited from his improvement.

Isaiah Jackson – Indiana Pacers

Tyrese Haliburton and Ben Mathurin are attracting the interest in Indiana, however, they are some other gems in the young Pacers roster to look out for. Isaiah Jackson is excellent so far in per-minute basis. He’s averaging 8.0 points, 5.0 rebounds and 1.2 assists and with Myles Turner getting traded at some point this season, expect Jackson to amp up his usage and production.

Jackson is solid as his per 36 stats reveal, averaging almost 16.0 points along with 9.9 rebounds and 2.4 assists, while shooting 54.9 percent from the field. He can be a great long-term and short-term addition to your NBA Fantasy roster.

Jalen Suggs – Orlando Magic

This is not the season that the Orlando Magic expected when they started their campaign. With only two wins in the first 10 games, the Magic might seem among the favorites to obtain a top-3 pick next season. However, there are some opportunities in the roster fantasy-league wise. Jalen Suggs could be a nice addition in the guard position.

The Magic are facing several injury issues in the perimeter and even Suggs has just returned from a five-game absence. Suggs is still trying to find balance early in his career showcasing many inconsistencies, but we cannot write him off — yet. He will likely provide a good line of performances after scoring 27 points vs Warriors and dishing seven assists in the close-fought loss vs Sacramento Saturday.

As a result, he might deserve a place in your NBA Fantasy roster
