Cavaliers rally past the Lakers to win eighth straight – NBA Sunday recap

The Cleveland Cavaliers rallied past the Los Angeles Lakers (114-100) and extended their winning streak to eight games.

Despite trailing by six at halftime (58-64), the Cavaliers were impressive in the second half and outscored their opponents 56-36 to cruise to the win. Thanks to its victory, Cleveland improved to 8-1, whereas the Lakers dropped to 2-7.

In the other games of the night, the Toronto Raptors protected their home court against the Chicago Bulls (104-113), despite playing without their star forward Pascal Siakam, who will miss two weeks with an adductor strain.

The Memphis Grizzlies defeated the Washington Wizards (97-103) and extended their winning streak to three games, while climbing to third in the West (7-3). Meanwhile, the Wizards have now lost two straight (4-6).

At Crypto.com Arena, the Utah Jazz endured the comeback of the LA Clippers and took the 110-102 victory to climb to the top of the West, tied with the Phoenix Suns (7-2).
