Ja Morant is dealing with an ankle injury and is set to miss some time, according to the Memphis Grizzlies’ official update.
The superstar guard got injured late in the fourth quarter of Friday’s win over the Oklahoma City Thunder (110-121), after attempting a floater. He went to the locker room and didn’t return.
Ja Morant was later diagnosed with a Grade 1 sprain of his left ankle and is now considered week-to-week, so it is unclear how much time he will miss.

Meanwhile, the Grizzlies have also ruled out Desmond Bane for the next two to three weeks with toe sprain. Memphis is third in the West with a 10-6 record.
