EuroLeague Round 12 kicks off on Thursday with five games and a lot of interesting battles between playoff and title contenders.
In Tel-Aviv, Maccabi hosts Valencia wih both teams coming off a stretch of mediocre performances and seeking to re-gain momentum.
The Israelis have lost five of their last games, while Valencia has lost three of its last four, but it’s coming off a big road win over Partizan (96-100).
Both teams have excuted very well offensively so far, so a high-scoring game is expected and the Over 161.5 points looks like a decent option (1.60).
At Wizink Center, Real Madrid hosts Monaco in a clash between two title contenders. The “Whites” have been unstoppable lately, having won their last six games, while the Monegasques are on a two-game winning streak and have won three of their last four.
Both teams have a lot of offensive weapons on their roster, therefore the Over 159.5 points (1.60) option is a safe bet here.
In Berlin, ALBA hosts league leaders Fenerbahce and aims to snap an eight-game losing streak. The last time the Berliners won was on October 19th vs Panathinaikos.
On the other hand, the Turks lost to Real Madrid last week (71-85), but they are still on top (9-2) and look perfectly capable of getting back on track at Mercedes-Benz Arena, therefore we will pick Fenerbahce’s win at 1.47 here.
In Belgrade, the first-ever EuroLeague derby between Partizan and Crvena Zvezda takes place with Zvezda being on a four-game winning streak and undefeated under head coach Dusko Ivanovic (4-0).
Therefore, they enter this game as the favorite to win and extend their winning streak to five games. A hard-fought game is expected at Stark Arena, with Zvezda’s win (2.62) and a handicap of 7.5 as value bets (1.60).
Last but not least, Panathinaikos aims to claim its fourth straight win as they host Armani Milano, which has lost its last seven games and wants to get back on track.
The “Greens” will rely on big man Giorgos Papagiannis, who is among the key players this season (averaging 6.9 points, 6.1 rebounds). The 7+ rebounds option (1.50) is a safe pick here, with Papagiannis coming off a 13-rebound performance vs Zalgiris Kaunas last week.
