Jamal Murray hits game winner; ends Nuggets’ 3-game losing skid – NBA Thursday recap

Jamal Murray hit the game winner at the buzzer and the Denver Nuggets escaped from Moda Center with a big road win over the Portland Trail Blazers (121-120).

Damian Lillard put the Blazers in front with a contested three (118-120), but Jamal Murray had the final say and his three-pointer helped the Nuggets snap a three-game losing skid.

In the other two games of the night, the San Antonio Spurs defeated the Houston Rockets (109-118) and snapped an 11-game losing streak, while the Miami Heat got back on track following their home win over the LA Clippers (110-115).
