NBA Fantasy: Top performers from Thursday (22/12)

NBA included only two games Thursday and presents the top performers from last night. With the Pelicans facing the Spurs without Zion Williamson, C.J. McCollum led Willie Green’s team with an all-around performance as New Orleans went through past San Antonio by beating Gregg Popovich and co. 123-116.

In the second contest of the night, the Utah Jazz went past (112-120) the slumping Washington Wizards despite Bradley Beal’s impressive performance.

CJ McCollum – New Orleans Pelicans (67.1 FP)

C.J. McCollum had to take the helm in the Pelicans’ offense with Zion Williamson entering the health and safety protocols. C.J. McCollum dominated the Spurs with 40 points (14-for-27 FGs), eight rebounds, nine assists, one steal, two blocks, five turnovers and seven triples in a 126-117 win on Thursday. He earned 67.1 NBA Fantasy points according to Yahoo.

Jeremy Sochan – San Antonio Spurs (43.8 FP)

Jeremy Sochan took the starting spot on Thursday and put up 23 points (7-for-14 FGs), nine rebounds, six assists, one steal, and two triples. Sochan showed an improved stroke from the charity stripe as he hit 7-of-10 attempts in Thursday’s contest. Sochan has shot 42.9% from the line. The total of rebounds, points and assists in his stat line is all career highs.

Bradley Beal – Washington Wizards (41.5 FP) 

Bradley Beal is trying to run the Wizards’ offense despite usage being down from last season. Beal finished with 30 points (13-for-20 FGs), five rebounds, five assists and two turnovers in a 120-112 loss to the Jazz. He was very dominant from the mid-range (13 made 2-pointers) but he could not provide value defensively and from beyond the arc. He finished with the third-best NBA Fantasy points total of the night with 41.5 per Yahoo.
