Bucks’ Khris Middleton remains day-to-day with knee injury

Khris Middleton is still dealing with a right knee injury (soreness), but he is now getting closer to his return.

The star forward of the Milwaukee Bucks has missed the last four games, but he is progressing well with his recovery.

“I would say way better than I was last week when I stopped playing,” he told the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel after Saturday’s practice.

“A lot of swelling in my knee went down. Just taking it day-by-day. Just trying to make sure the next time I go back out there I’ll be out there for the long run.”

Khris Middleton recently returned to the Bucks lineup after missing the first 20 games with a wrist surgery. Milwaukee will not rush to bring the All-Star forward back, as they want him to be fully healthy in the second part of the season.

The Bucks are second in the East with a 22-10 record, just 0.5 games back of the Boston Celtics (23-10). The two powerhouses will collide at TD Garden on Christmas Day.
