LeBron James is having another stellar season and is only a few games away from becoming the NBA All-time scoring leader.
The four-time champion is averaging 27.2 points per game this season and would need 16 games to break Kareem Abdul-Jabbar’s record.
Abdul Jabbar has 38,387 career points, while James is 422 points behind, at 37,965. Hence, he could break the record as early as February 9 vs the Milwaukee Bucks, if he continues to score at the same pace.
LeBron James is averaging 35.8 points over the last five games, as the LA Lakers are on a five-game winning streak and 11th in the West standings with a 14-21 record.
