Following a career-best performance in a winning effort vs ALBA Berlin on Thursday (87-74), Wade Baldwin earned the MVP of the Round honors for the fourth time in his EuroLeague career.
Wade Baldwin finished with a career-high PIR of 35 after scoring a personal-best 33 points, while he also grabbed three rebounds, dished six assists, recorded one steal, blocked one shot and drew six fouls.
On his way to 33 points, he went 8-of-13 from two-point range, 4-of-8 from behind the arc and 5-of-6 on free throws. This is Baldwin’s first MVP accolade of the season.
The American scoring guard will need to step up for Maccabi Tel-Aviv in the coming weeks, as fellow star guard Lorenzo Brown has been ruled out for the next two to three weeks with an ankle injury.
