Nets’ Kevin Durant to be re-evaluated in 2 weeks

Brooklyn Nets superstar Kevin Durant will be re-evaluated in two weeks, according to Shams Charania of The Athletic.

The superstar forward has been out with an MCL sprain in his right knee, an injury he sustained during the road win over the Miami Heat (102-101) on January 8.

Kevin Durant is progressing well in his recovery and there is optimism he will return before the All-Star Break in mid-February.

At 29-17, the Nets have won twice in their last six games and are currently fourth in the East standings, five games behind the top-seeded Boston Celtics (35-13).

Meanwhile, Kevin Durant is having an MVP season and is averaging 29.7 points, 6.7 rebounds and 5.3 assists in 39 games, on 55.9% from the field and 37.6% from beyond the arc.
