Kristaps Porzingis is dealing with an ankle injury that could cost him a few weeks of action, the Washington Wizards announced on Monday.
The Latvian star big man suffered a left ankle sprain during the Wizards’ win over the Orlando Magic on Saturday, January 21 and is now considered week-to-week.

According to Adrian Wojnarowski of ESPN, there’s optimism that Kristaps Porzingis, who is averaging 22.1 points and 8.8 rebounds this season, will return to the Washington lineup within two weeks.
The Wizards, who traded Rui Hachimura to the Los Angeles Lakers on Monday, are 12th in the East standings with a 20-26 record.
