Olympiacos star guard Kostas Sloukas questionable for EuroLeague double-round week with back injury

Kostas Sloukas could miss the EuroLeague double-round week for Olympiacos, as he is dealing with a back injury.

The Greek star guard got injured vs Maccabi Tel-Aviv on Friday and underwent medical tests, which didn’t show significant damage.

Hence, he is questionable for the “Reds” games vs Fenerbahce (January 31, road) and Anadolu Efes (February 3, home) this week.

Kostas Sloukas got injured late in the second quarter after a collision with the Israelis’ big man Jarell Martin. He exited the game in the following play and went to the locker room and he didn’t return.

Sloukas had three points, four rebounds and three assists in nine minutes on the floor. Olympiacos defeated Maccabi Tel-Aviv at a sold-out Peace and Friendship Stadium (95-89) and stayed on top of the EuroLeague (14-7).
