In a surprising move, the LA Lakers sent guard Patrick Beverley and a second-round pick to the Orlando Magic for Mo Bamba.
The Lakers have changed their backcourt line after moving both Beverley and Russell Westbrook, while acquiring D’Angelo Russell, Malik Beasley and Jarred Vanderbilt.

Meanwhile, they sent Thomas Bryant to the Denver Nuggets and replaced him with Orlando big man Mo Bamba.
The Lakers, who host the Milwaukee Bucks on Thursday, are 13th in the West standings with a 25-30 record.
Bryant has given the Lakers some productive and high-energy stretches this season, averaging 12 points and 6.8 rebounds in 21 minutes. Physical addition to Nuggets’ frontline.
