The superstar forward and all-time scoring leader got injured during Sunday’s comeback road win vs the Dallas Mavericks (111-108).
“It’s been better,” LeBron James said on Sunday. “But I definitely wasn’t going to the locker room and not finish the game. The importance of this game and then the momentum that we had, I felt like we could steal one after being down.”
The Lakers’ playoff push will determine whether the Lakers will bring him back for the final games of the regular season or they will shut him down if they are out of the playoffs.
The 17-time NBA champions trail the No. 6-seeded LA Clippers by 2,5 games and play 10 of their next 12 games at home before closing the season with five of their last seven games on the road.
