Bogdan Bogdanovic has agreed to a multi-year contract extension with the Atlanta Hawks, the franchise officially announced on Thursday.

The Serbian star guard declined his $18M player option for the 2023/24 season and will remain with Atlanta long-term. According to Adrian Wojnarowski of ESPN, the deal is for four years, worth a total of $68M, and will kick off next season.

Bogdan Bogdanovic is in his third season with the Hawks and is averaging 14.1 points, on 43.7% from the field and a team-best 40.1% from beyond the arc, 3.2 rebounds and 2.9 assists in 28.5 minutes of action.

Bogdanovic and the Hawks are fighting for a spot in the playoffs and they are currently on a two-game losing skid. With a 34-35 record, they are eighth in the East standings and within the play-in spots.
