Dzanan Musa on winning EuroLeague Round 29 MVP award: “I don’t think about individual stats, as long as we get the win”

Dzanan Musa made another stellar performance this season and claimed the MVP award for EuroLeague Round 29. The Bosnian forward had a game-high 27 points, five rebounds, three assists and 10 fouls drawn, on 6/10 shooting and 13/14 from the free-throw line.

Musa finished with a career-high 38 PIR, the highest of any Real player in almost five years, and was named the MVP of the Round in the EuroLeague for a third time in his debut campaign with the “Whites”.

“I don’t think about individual stats, as long as we get the win. That’s the most important thing right now, and we are happy that we closed this game in a good way, that we got a win at home.

It was important to stay calm, and getting trusted by my teammates [is a cool feeling]. And it is important to continue to do so in the practices, in the games. I am thankful for my teammates and my coach, first of all,” Dzanan Musa said afterwards.

The 91-87 home win over Armani Milano lifted Real Madrid to 20-9 in the standings, with the “Whites” staying second on the table with five games to go for the regular season finale.
