Monaco cruised past Barcelona (78-66) and finished third in the EuroLeague Final Four, closing the season in the best way possible, following Friday’s semifinal loss to Olympiacos.
The Monegasques took over from start to finish, led by 11 after the opening quarter (24-13) and 16 at halftime (44-28) and never looked back, as the Catalans never recovered and ended the EuroLeague season with back-to-back losses.

Matthew Strazel led three Monaco players in double figures with 14 points, while Nikola Mirotic was the only Barcelona player in double figures with a game-high 15 points.
Monaco ended the season in the best way possible, while the “Blaugrana” made two disappointing performances and failed to reach the Championship Game for a second straight year.
