Carmelo Anthony has officially announced his retirement from the NBA and professional basketball.
Carmelo Anthony never won an NBA championship, but had a legendary career, as he was a six-time All-NBA, a 10-time All-Star, a 2013 NBA scoring champion, ninth all-time leading NBA scorer, three-time Olympic Gold medalist and member of the NBA 75 Anniversary Team.
He also won the 2003 NCAA championship and following his retirement, LeBron James is the only active player from the 2003 Class. Anthony was a free agent after spending the 2021/22 season with the LA Lakers.
