Jordan Loyd spent a few minutes with Yiannis Bouranis and Hedgeout.net after the third-place game between Monaco and Barcelona at Zalgirio Arena on Sunday.
The American star guard and one of the Monegasques’ leaders spoke about his first career EuroLeague Final Four, his experience in Kaunas and whether Monaco’s EuroLeague season was a success.
Jordan Loyd revealed he was grateful about the Final Four and shared his happiness about Monaco finishing third in just its second season in the competition. Loyd also called this EuroLeague season a ‘success’ for the Monegasques, as they stepped up and made it to the Final Four, after reaching the playoffs a year ago.
Last but not least, he made it clear that winning the French League will make Monaco’s season successful overall and added that a return to the Final Four will be the club’s top target next year.
