EuroLeague rumors: Olympiacos expresses interest to sign Nikola Milutinov on 2-year deal

According to several Greek media outlets, Olympiacos has expressed interest to sign and bring back big man Nikola Milutinov.

Nikola Milutinov spent several years with the “Reds” (2015-2020), before leaving to join CSKA Moscow. However, his contract with the Muscovites has now expired and has become a free agent.

Per the reports, Olympiacos’ offer is for two years, but talks remain ongoing regarding the player’s salary, as his contract with CSKA Moscow was lucrative. If Milutinov agrees to a deal with Olympiacos, he will create a dominant duo with Moustapha Fall in the frontline

Meanwhile, the Greek powerhouse, which finished second in the EuroLeague, losing to Real Madrid in the Championship Game (78-79), will look to keep Kostas Sloukas with a new deal and Sasha Vezenkov (the Sacramento Kings are expected to make him an offer in the summer) and enter the 2023/24 season as favorites to go all the way again.
