Tyler Herro set to return in NBA Finals vs Nuggets

The Miami Heat advanced to the NBA Finals for the first time since 2020 and will have reinforcements in Tyler Herro, as they are preparing to take on the Denver Nuggets.

More specifically, Tyler Herro is working on his return to the lineup after suffering a hand injury in Game 1 of the opening round of the NBA playoffs vs the Milwaukee Bucks.

Herro has been out since April 17 with a broken hand, but he is now expected to be ready for the Finals. According to Chris Haynes of Bleacher Report, his return is expected to take place in Game 3 on Wednesday, June 7.

Miami became just the second No.8 seed in league history to qualify for the NBA Finals, whereas the Celtics came a step away from becoming the first team to erase a 3-0 deficit, but came up short in the most important game.

The Heat will now collide with the Denver Nuggets, with Game 1 taking place in Colorado on Thursday, June 1st.
