Jordan Clarkson headlines Philippines’ preliminary roster for Basketball World Cup

Utah Jazz star guard Jordan Clarkson headlines the 21-man preliminary roster of the Philippines for the 2023 Basketball World Cup.

The Philippines will be one of the host countries of the tournament, along with Indonesia and Japan (August 25 – September 10), and are hopeful Jordan Clarkson’s presence will boost their chances to make a deep run in the Basketball World Cup.

The 21 players that are part of the preliminary roster are as follows: Dwight Ramos, Chris Newsome, Kiefer Ravena, CJ Perez, Rhenz Abando, Jordan Heading, Roger Ray Pogoy, Scottie Thompson, Jamie Malonzo, Thirdy Ravena, Japeth Aguilar, Poy Erram, Carl Tamayo, Bobby Ray Parks Jr., Justin Brownlee, June Mar Fajardo, Kai Sotto, Ange Kouame, AJ Edu, Jordan Clarkson and Calvin Oftana

The Philippines will play Angola, Italy, and the Dominican Republic in Group A in Manila.
