Olympiacos wins Greek Basket League title after Game 4 vs Panathinaikos gets forfeited

In a chaotic Game 4 at OAKA Altion, Olympiacos claimed the Greek Basket League title after the game got forfeited.

The “Reds” dominated the game from start to finish and were up by 28 points late in the third quarter (35-63). After a series of incidents in the arena (including smoke bombs and flares and throwing objects), the game stopped temporarily and Olympiacos went straight into the locker room.

The referees first decided to evacuate the arena and then added that the game can’t resume and Olympiacos won the game 0-20.

This was the third domestic title for the “Reds”, after winning the Greek Cup and SuperCup earlier in the season. They ended the season on the best way possible after reaching the EuroLeague Championship Game.
