Olympiacos has signed Nigel Williams-Goss to a two-year deal, the Greek powerhouse announced on Wednesday.
The “Reds” reunite with the American combo guard, who agreed to a deal that will keep him with the team until the end of the 2024/25 season.
Nigel Williams-Goss is coming off a year in which he became a EuroLeague champion for the first time in his career, with Real Madrid defeating Olympiacos in the Championship Game in May.
The 28-year-old guard spent the past two seasons with the “Whites“, averaging 7.4 points, 1.8 assists and 1.3 rebounds on the way to winning the title. He appeared in 26 EuroLeague games, 23 as a starter. He also had 6.4 points, 2.8 assists and 2.0 boards in the ACB, where Real got swept by Barcelona in the Finals (3-0).
Nigel Williams-Goss returns to Olympiacos after five years. He made his EuroLeague debut with the “Reds” in the 2018/19 season, averaging 9.2 points, 4.2 assists and 2.0 rebounds.
He becomes the second signing of Olympiacos this offseason, after Serbian big man Nikola Milutinov, who returned to the club after three years.
