Dennis Schroder wrapped up his FIBA World Cup campaign with the MVP award after leading Germany to its first-ever world title.
Schroder posted a game-high 28 points in Germany’s 83-77 win over Serbia in the Final. The team captain scored at least 14 points for the seventh time in eight games. The star guard of the Toronto Raptors averaged 19.1 points, 6.1 assists, 2.0 rebounds and 1.4 steals per game.

It was the second straight elite performance on the big stage, as Dennis Schroder was named to the All-Star 5 of the FIBA EuroBasket 2022, where Germany finished third.
Schroder was joined on the FIBA World Cup 2023 All-Star 5 by Bogdan Bogdanovic, Shai Gilgeous-Alexander, Anthony Edwards, and Luka Doncic.
