After just one season with Fenerbahce, Nemanja Bjelica has become a free agent, as he parted ways with the Turkish powerhouse.
Nemanja Bjelica missed the majority of the 2022/23 season with a calf injury he sustained in August 2022, while preparing with Serbia for the FIBA EuroBasket.
The injury almost ruled him out for the season, but he returned in the final part of the season for the EuroLeague and Turkish League playoffs.
The Serbian forward is expected to stay in the EuroLeague, as he has joined Crvena Zvezda’s training camp and is ready to sign with the Serbians. Bjelica, a 2022 NBA champion with the Golden State Warriors, will attempt a return to the top level after a struggling year.
