Monaco announced the contract extension of team captain Yakuba Ouattara for another season. The new deal will keep the 31-year-old guard with the Monegasques through the summer of 2024.
Ouattara is on his third stint with the club and is now entering his eighth year as a part of Monaco roster. The versatile guard averaged 3.9 points and 1.0 rebound in a historic year for the Monegasques, who played in the EuroLeague Final Four for the first time in club history.
Yakuba Ouattara joined Monaco in the summer of 2021 and has a bench role in the squad, as the Monegasques aim for a second straight Final Four appearance this year.
