Bayern Munich has completed its roster for the 2023/24 season with the blockbuster signing of Serge Ibaka, who returns to the EuroLeague after 14 seasons in the NBA.
After seven seasons with Oklahoma City (2009-2016), Ibaka went on to play for the Orlando Magic, Toronto Raptors and LA Clippers before joining the Milwaukee Bucks in 2022. He helped Toronto win the 2019 championship and reached the NBA Finals with Oklahoma City in 2012.
He was also named to the All-Defensive First Team three straight years (2012-2014), while leading the league in blocks twice: in 2012 (3.7 bpg.) and 2013 (3.0 bpg.).

Serge Ibaka returns to the EuroLeague after briefly playing in the competition during the 2010-11 season during the NBA lockout. He averaged 5.5 points, 4.7 rebounds and 2.0 blocks in six EuroLeague games with Real Madrid, then-coached by Pablo Laso. He will now reunite with the veteran coach.
Ibaka has also played for Spain, winning the gold medal at EuroBasket 2011 and the silver medal at the 2012 Olympic Games in London.
