Markus Howard has agreed to a two-year contract extension with Baskonia, the Basques announced Wednesday. Howard was on an expiring contract and will now stay with the Basques through the end of the 2025-26 season.
The American scoring guard was one of Baskonia’s key players during the 2022-23 season with averages of 14.2 ppg., with the Basques missing the postseason in the final round.

Markus Howard and Baskonia have already started their ACB campaign, while their EuroLeague opener will take place Friday, October 6, vs reigning champions Real Madrid.
