LeBron James calls out NBA officiating

Los Angeles Lakers superstar LeBron James called out the NBA after the league released the “Last Two Minutes Report” of the contest against the Miami Heat. James was not pleased with the lack of foul calls, a sentiment that was also underlined from Darvin Ham.

“I see Bron shooting four free throws,” Ham said after Monday’s game, “and the amount of times he attacked the rim, the amount of times he was slapped on the arm, which I could see plain as day, for that not to be called, man … he’s not flopping.

LeBron James attempted just four free throws on the night. It keeps him on pace to tie his career-low for attempts per game in a single season (5.7). As a result, the Lakers contacted the NBA to address the situation and earn an explanation.

However, the Last 2-Minute report of the game between Lakers and Heat came back clean, per Ira Winderman of the South Florida Sun-Sentinel.

That led to LeBron’s reaction, who called out the league. The Lakers lost the game 107-108 and there were obviously some questionable calls during the game, but those might not have happened during the last two minutes of the game.

“The game isn’t won or lost in the last 2 mins! If you know the game things happen throughout the 1st, 2nd. 3rd and first 10 mins of 4th that has MAJOR impact on outcomes,LeBron’s post reads on X(former Twitter).

The Lakers and LeBron James are set to face the Houston Rockets on Wednesday after experiencing ups and downs that led to a 3-4 start to the NBA season.
