Team USA reveals list of candidates ahead of Paris 2024

Team USA basketball is set to be at full strength during the Paris 2024 Olympic Games with Stephen Curry and LeBron James headlining the preliminary selection. The biggest American stars have been part of the list as announced by the USA Basketball.

Stephen Curry, LeBron James, Jayson Tatum, Joel Embiid, Kevin Durant and Devin Booker talked publicly about their willingness to play for Team USA in the coming summer, but the coaching staff elected to go in a wider pool of players in case of injuries.

In addition to announcing its player pool, USAB also said it would host Team Canada in an exhibition game on July 10 in Las Vegas. Canada beat the Americans in the FIBA World Cup third-place game last summer.
