Filip Petrusev to have medical tests after leaving Game 1 vs Barcelona with a knee injury

Filip Petrusev had to leave Game 1 against Barcelona with a knee injury and it is unclear how serious the injury is. The Serbian big man got injured late in the fourth quarter after landing awkwardly on his feet following a dunk attempt where he was fouled.

Filip Petrusev had to leave the game and din’t return and will now undergo medical tests that will show whether he will be available for Game 2 and the rest of the series. The young big man had 12 points, five rebounds and one steal in almost 16 minutes of action.

Olympiacos stood tall in a late thriller at Palau Blaugrana (75-77) and now leads the series 1-0. Game 2 will take place in Barcelona on Friday night. If the Catalans win, then there will be two games in Piraeus next week. If the Reds win, though, they will have the chance to close out the series at the sold-out Peace and Friendship Stadium next Tuesday, April 30.
