Filip Petrusev expected to be available for EuroLeague Final-4

Olympiacos received massive news on Filip Petrusev injury as the MRI returned clean and his participation in the EuroLeague Final-Four is almost certain. Petrusev went down with an apparent leg injury during Olympiacos’ latest Greek Basket League game.

He was carried off the court and sat on the bench after the opening five minutes of the game between Olympiacos and Kolossos. He is likely to sit out Game 1 of a best-of-three series vs. AEK for the Greek Basket League playoffs, per Eurohoops.

The Serbian has gone through several injuries in his first season with Olympiacos missing games due to lower leg injuries. He was sidelined for the last two weeks of the EuroLeague regular season with a sprained ankle.

It was feared that he suffered more damage as he was unable to put weight on his foot, but the MRI came back clear. He will be ready to make the trip to Berlin alongside the rest of Olympiacos team.
