The EuroLeague Final-Four is hours away from its start and several NBA stars might be in attendance during the weekend. As Aris Barkas of Eurohoops reported, Milwaukee’s superstar Giannis Antetokounmpo will arrive in Berlin to watch his brother Kostas competing for the EuroLeague title.
The two-time NBA MVP is coming off a historic season but he was unable to help his team in the postseason due to injury. Kostas Antetokounmpo will play in his first EuroLeague Final-Four of his career.
Antetokounmpo joined Panathinaikos last summer and curved a backup role behind Mathias Lessort. He appeared in 29 games (3 starts) and averaged 2.9 points, 1.8 rebounds and PIR of 3.6.
Aside from Giannis, Scottie Pippen, the NBA legend and six-time NBA champion, will also be in Berlin for the Final-Four. Pippen was part of the NBA All-Defensive First Team eight consecutive times and part of All-NBA teams three times.
Dennis Schroder to be present in the EuroLeague Final-Four
With the competition’s final phase returning to Berlin, Germany, it’s only natural that members of the German national team will also be present. As Basket news reported, Dennis Schroder is in Berlin to attend the EuroLeague Final-Four.
The 2023 world champion with Germany finished the season in Brooklyn after getting traded from Toronto mid-season. He averaged 14.6 points and almost six assists in his time with the Nets.
