EuroLeague rumors: Crvena Zvezda, Partizan expected to get wild card for the 2024/25 season

The two Serbian powerhouses, Crvena Zvezda and Partizan, are expected to get a wild card and play in the EuroLeague next season. According to Meridian Sports (via Eurohoops.net), both Crvena Zvezda and Partizan got invitations to play in the competition next year.

In order to get their wild card, they will need to pay one million euros, which is the fee for the teams that have no guaranteed contracts in the league. Both powerhouses were frontrunners to get a wild card, especially Zvezda, who won the 2024 ABA League title.

The two Serbian giants are expected to make changes to their roster after failing to reach the EuroLeague playoffs this year. At the same time, there have been talks with both teams to get a long-term license to play in the EuroLeague.
