Partizan signed Iffy Lundberg to upgrade their perimeter play and a few hours later added Frank Ntilikina on a two-year deal. The former Mavs’ guard returns to Europe after seven seasons in the NBA.
Ntilikina was a free agent since February and he was attracting interest from various clubs before joining Partizan. In Belgrade, the French international will have the chance to play under the legendary head coach Zeljko Obradovic.
Ntilikina entered the NBA as 8th pick in the 2017 NBA Draft. He played four seasons in the Big Apple before going to the Dallas Mavericks and then the Charlotte Hornets. The defensive specialist will return in the EuroLeague with the Serbians.
The former Hornets guard made four appearances in the Turkish Airlines EuroLeague, played five games of the 7DAYS EuroCup, and 14 games of the Basketball Champions League.
He averaged 4.8 points, 1.8 rebounds, and 2.2 assists across seven seasons. The dynamic guard is a bronze medalist  in the 2019 FIBA World Cup. He also played in the 2020 Olympic Games held in 2021. He missed the 2022 EuroBasket and the 2023 FIBA Basketball World Cup.
